My Michael Jackson portraits are on display and for sale this month at the Kyo Art Gallery in Italy. It is the same gallery that is showing Medicino.

Anthropomorphizing the Stormtrooper or humanizing the Stormtrooper, it is becoming a full-blown trend. Forget Darth, Leia, Luke or Han, it is all about the faceless soldier.

I was a kid watching Michael perform on TV when he was still a kid himself.
I felt old when I heard he died.
Surprised by my own tears, while watching him dance on YouTube, I made these portraits.

This is another still from one of the animated portraits. I showed this one at my talk at Pictopia. I have not uploaded the animation yet, will post it when I do.

I have been playing with the idea of an animated portrait. These are sketch stills of a portrait of my son, an animated version can be seen here (click).
